Xin Xin Ming

Also called “Verses on the Faith Mind,” or “Relying on Mind,” we studied the Xin Xin Ming by Sengcan, the Third Chinese Patriarch (died: 606 CE) during one of our monthly meetings. Below are two versions that we used. This poem is one of the oldest and most important expressions of Chinese Zen.
